    My name is Luis Alfredo Gallegos, but I just go by Alfredo. About a year ago I was sitting in a room filled with people who where so excited. Excited to go on a new journey, a journey that could change them forever. When introducing ourselves we had to say our name, our major, and the place that we where studying abroad. Some of the places included India, Brazil, and Madagascar along with other incredible destinations. When my turn came I happily stood up and said, “I will be attending Bangor University in Wales”.  Many looked at me with confusing look in their face, mostly because they didn’t know where Bangor was. Like many other students I didn’t know much about Wales, but I knew a lot the university. I honestly wasn’t worried about not knowing too much about Wales, because I really wanted to learn as I went through my adventure. But most of all I wanted to have a life changing experience, and to be honest It was. Studying abroad is scary but hopefully I can get you excited about it.
